After 10 years on a steep climb up the corporate ladder, Nicole Yee decided to remodel her career. She founded NY Interiors in 2004, building on a life-long passion for interior design. In 2009, she expanded the business to her native New England Seacoast. Now, as a lauded designer, Nicole is known for providing her clients with remarkable results. She is the only interior designer serving the East and West Coasts that has been awarded the Interior Design Society “Designer of the Year Award” ten times.

Her eye for detail is keen, her memory sharp, her listening skills honed and her creativity boundless. She focuses on creating original, well-edited designs customized for each client.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University. She’s the former Vice President of Marketing and Electronic Commerce for two mutual fund companies (Montgomery Asset Management then AXA Rosenberg) where she acquired the skills necessary to shepherd vast creative projects through from concept to completion.

She is professionally trained as an Interior Redesign Industry Specialist. She is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Nicole is also a former National Board Member of the Interior Design Society (IDS) and Founder and Past President of the IDS San Francisco Bay Area Chapter.

Her work has been featured in multiple publications, including Traditional Home, This Old House, Women’s Day Remodeling & Makeovers, Design New England and Coastal Home. Nicole finds design inspiration whether she is traveling the world, or at home with her two bright and beautiful children.
